| "Northern Gannets" Original Acrylic 24" x 32"
| Gannets are large seabirds with 6 foot wing spans. They catch fish by making spectacular plunge dives, folding their wings tightly to pierce the water like an arrow. Gannets nest in colonies on shoreline cliffs along the Canadian Atlantic Coast. We saw this pair at Cape St Mary's in Newfoundland.
